Axis Asset Mutual Fund has launched Axis ESG Equity Fund. It is an open ended scheme investing in companies demonstrating sustainable practices across Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) theme.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of companies demonstrating sustainable practices across Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) parameters.
The performance of the fund will be benchmarked against Nifty 100 ESG TRI (Total Return Index).
The fund will be managed by Mr Jinesh Gopani and Mr Hitesh Das.
The NFO opens for subscription on January 22, 2020 and closes on February 05, 2020.
The New Fund Offer is priced at Rs 10 per unit and the minimum application amount for initial purchase is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.
