Edelweiss Mutual Fund has launched a new scheme - Edelweiss MSCI India Domestic & World Healthcare 45 Index Fund.
It is an open ended Index Fund that will replicate MSCI India Domestic & World Healthcare 45 Index.
The investment objective of the scheme is to provide investment returns that, before expenses, closely corresponds to the returns equivalent to the index, subject to tracking errors. However, there is no assurance that the investment objective of the scheme will be realized and the Scheme does not assure or guarantee any returns.
Under normal circumstances Edelweiss MSCI India Domestic & World Healthcare 45 Index Fund will invest at least 95% of its assets in stocks comprising the MSCI India Domestic & World Healthcare 45 Index. A very small portion (0% to 5% of its assets) may be kept in Debt and Money Market Instruments / units of Liquid Mutual Funds.
Being a Thematic Index scheme, the net assets of the scheme will be invested predominantly in stocks constituting the MSCI India Domestic & World Healthcare 45 Index.
The scheme’s performance will be benchmarked against MSCI India Domestic & World Healthcare 45 Index.
Edelweiss MSCI India Domestic & World Healthcare 45 Index Fund will be managed by Mr Hardik Varma and Mr Mayur Dharmshi (responsible for investments in foreign securities).
The NFO opens for subscription on October 06, 2020 and closes on October 20, 2020. The scheme will re-open for continuous sale & repurchase on or before November 03, 2020.
The fund’s NAV is priced at Rs 10/- per unit during the NFO period. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Rs 1 thereafter.
