Mutual Fund News : ITI Mutual Fund Launches ITI Large Cap Fund

ITI Mutual Fund has launched ITI Large Cap Fund.

It is an Open-ended Equity scheme predominantly investing in equity and equity-related securities of large cap companies.

The investment objective of the scheme is to seek to generate long term capital appreciation by predominantly investing in equity and equity related securities of large cap stocks. However, there can be no assurance that the investment objective of the scheme will be achieved.

Under normal circumstances, 80% to 100% of the funds portfolio will be invested in equity and equity related instruments of Large Cap Companies. It can also invest up to 20% of its assets in equity & equity related instruments of other than Large cap Companies.

0% to 20% of its assets can be held in Debt and Money Market Instruments and can invest up to 10% of its assets in Units issued by REITs and InvITs.

ITI Large Cap Fund would endeavor to buy only from the large cap universe as defined by AMFI. The universe of “Large Cap” consists of 1st to 100th company in terms of full market capitalization.

At least 80% of the portfolio will be of ‘core’ stocks and tactical bets will not be more than 20% of its assets. It will hold maximum 40 stocks in the portfolio.

The fund management would follow “GARP” (Growth At Reasonable Price) investment style, and focus on investing in good and sound businesses which the fund management understands well.

ITI Large Cap Fund’s performance will be benchmarked against Nifty 100 TRI (Total Return Index).

The fund will be managed by Mr George Heber Joseph and Mr Pradeep Gokhale.

The NFO opens for subscription on December 04, 2020, and closes on December 18, 2020. The scheme will reopen for continuous Sale and Repurchase within 5 business days from the date of allotment.

The fund’s NAV is priced at Rs 10/- per unit during the NFO period. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.

The fund offers Regular Plan and Direct Plan having Growth Option and Dividend Option (Dividend Re-investment and Dividend Pay-out facilities).
