Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund has introduced two new schemes – Motilal Oswal S&P BSE Enhanced Value ETF and Index Fund
It is an open-ended exchange-traded fund and Index scheme replicating / tracking the S&P BSE Enhanced Value Total Return Index.
Accordingly, the investment objective of the schemes is to provide returns that, before expenses, correspond to the total returns of the securities as represented by S&P BSE Enhanced Value Total Return Index, subject to tracking error.
However, there is no guarantee or assurance that the investment objective of the scheme will be achieved.
Under normal circumstances, Motilal Oswal S&P BSE Enhanced Value ETF and Index Fund will hold an allocation of 95% to 100% of its assets in Constituents of S&P BSE Enhanced Value Index, and 0% to 5% of its assets in Units of Liquid/ debt schemes, debt and money market instruments.
As per the Scheme Information Document, the Scheme follows a passive investment strategy and seek to invest in the constituent of S&P BSE Enhanced Value Total Return Index. The scheme aims to achieve returns equivalent to the benchmark subject to tracking error.
The scheme would invest in the securities comprising the S&P BSE Enhanced Value Total Return Index in the same proportion (weights) as in the index and track the benchmark index. The scheme may also invest in the money market instruments, in compliance with regulation to meet liquidity requirements.
Motilal Oswal S&P BSE Enhanced Value ETF and Index Fund’s performance will be benchmarked against S&P BSE Enhanced Value Total Return Index.
Both the schemes will be managed by Mr. Swapnil Mayekar and Mr. Abhiroop Mukherjee
The NFO opens for subscription on July 29, 2022 and closes on August 05, 2022. Both the schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase Within 5 Business Days from the date of allotment.
The fund’s NAV is priced at Rs 10/- per unit during the NFO period. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 500/- for Index fund and ETF and in multiples of Re.1 thereafter.
Currently, there are no plans/ options under the ETF Scheme. The Index scheme offers Regular Plan and Direct Plan each plan offers Growth and Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal option.
