Old Bridge Mutual Fund, sponsored by Old Bridge Capital Management, will make its foray into the Indian mutual fund industry with its maiden new fund offer (NFO) on January 17, 2024.
Old Bridge Mutual Fund is a relatively new player, marking its debut into the open-ended equity fund space. The fund house is backed by Old Bridge Capital Management Private Limited, a portfolio management services firm founded by veteran investor Mr Kenneth Andrade.
The fund house’s initial offering is – Old Bridge Focused Equity Scheme, an open-ended scheme that aims to invest in a maximum 30 stocks across market capitalisation.
The scheme follows a concentrated, high-conviction investment approach, focusing on a select portfolio of 25-30 stocks that the fund manager believes have strong long-term growth potential.
The fund prioritizes deep fundamental research and a buy-and-hold philosophy, it will look to invest in companies that have low debt and high capital efficiency.
Kenneth Andrade, the founder and CEO of Old Bridge Capital Management, provided insight into the NFO's investment approach, the company's outlook for the future, and the market in an exclusive conversation with CNBC TV.
