Mutual Fund News : WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund Enters Equity Market with launch of WhiteOak Capital Flexicap Fund

WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund has launched its first equity new fund offer – WhiteOak Capital Flexicap Fund.

It an open-ended dynamic equity scheme investing across large cap, mid cap and small cap stocks.

The investment objective of this scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing predominately in equity & equity related instruments across the spectrum of various market capitalization. However, there can be no assurance or guarantee that the investment objective of the Scheme would be achieved.

Under normal circumstances, WhiteOak Capital Flexicap Fund will hold an allocation of 65% to 100% of its assets in Equity & Equity related instruments, and 0% to 35% of its assets in Debt Securities and Money Market Instruments. The scheme may also invest 0% to 10% of its assets in Units issued by REITs and INVITs.

The investment strategy of WhiteOak Capital Flexicap Fund as mentioned in the Scheme Information Document (SID) is as follows:

WhiteOak Capital Flexicap Fund will predominantly invest in equity & equity related instruments of companies spanning entire market capitalization. The aim of the equity strategy will be to build a portfolio, representing a cross section of companies diversified across major industries, economic sectors and market capitalization that offer an acceptable risk reward balance.

Though every endeavour will be made to achieve the objective of the Scheme, the AMC/ Sponsors/Trustee do not guarantee that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved. No guaranteed returns are being offered under the Scheme.

WhiteOak Capital Flexicap Fund’s performance will be benchmarked against S&P BSE 500 Total Return Index. 

The fund will be managed by Mr Ramesh Mantri and Mr Piyush Baranwal (for Debt securities).

The NFO opens for subscription on July 12, 2022 and closes on July 26, 2022. The scheme will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase Within 5 Business Days from the date of allotment.

The fund’s NAV is priced at Rs 10/- per unit during the NFO period. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 500 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.

The fund offers Regular Plan and Direct Plan having Growth and Income Distribution cum capital withdrawal (IDCW) (Payout and Reinvestment).
