quant Mutual Fund has launched – quant BFSI Fund

It is an open-ended equity scheme investing in banking and financial services related sector

Accordingly, the investment objective of the scheme is to generate consistent returns by investing in equity and equity related instruments of banking and financial services. However, there is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved.

Under normal circumstances, quant BFSI Fund will hold an allocation of 80% to 100% of its assets in Equity and Equity related instruments of companies engaged in Banking and Financial Services Sector and 0% to 20% in Equity and Equity related instruments of companies other than those engaged in Banking and Financial Services Sector, 0% to 20% Debt & Money Market instruments, 0% to 5% Units issued by REITs & InvITs and 0% to 20% Foreign securities including ADRs / GDRs / Foreign equity and debt securities and Overseas ETFs.

As per the Scheme Information Document, quant BFSI Fund aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by creating a portfolio that shall predominantly invest in equity and equity related securities of banking and financial services companies. The Fund Manager may, from time to time, review and modify the Scheme ‘s investment strategy if such changes are considered to be in the best interests of the unitholders and if market conditions warrant it. The Scheme may also invest a part of its corpus in overseas markets in unlisted securities, Global Depository Receipts (GDRs), ADRs, overseas equity, bonds and mutual funds and such other instruments as may be allowed under the Regulations from time to time.

quant BFSI Fund’s performance will be benchmarked against Nifty Financial Services TRI

The scheme will be managed by Mr Sandeep Tandon, Mr Ankit Pande, Mr Sanjeev Sharma and Mr Vasav Sahgal.

The NFO opens for subscription on June 01, 2023 and closes on June 14, 2023. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within 5 business days.

The fund’s NAV is priced at Rs 10/- per unit during the NFO period. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter. 

The scheme offers Regular Plan and Direct Plan each plan offers Growth and Income Distribution cum capital withdrawal option (IDCW) option.
