CFG is someone who will not just be an advisor, but will guide you through the complicated world of personal finance. He will always, in all dealings related to investments, put your interest before his own. No matter what's at stake.In short, he is not just an advisor but a 'guardian' for your investments!

To become a CFG, you need to be an Indian citizen who should successfully complete the 10-hour CFG E-Learning program and have valid course completion certificate. A completion certificate rewarding the Users as "Certified Financial Guardian" will be issued by PersonalFN on successful completion of the CFG Course.

To become a CFG, you need to complete an exclusive certification course from PersonalFN… A course that through the use of case studies educates advisors and financial planners on how to do the right thing for the investor at all times… and still go on to achieve all the success that one possibly can!

The CFG training will educate you on proper ethics and methods of financial advisory business. You will learn from retirement planning to investment research to financial planning.

It will be around 10-hour E-Learningprogram spanning over 6 weeks.

The CFG completion certificate will be issued by PersonalFN after the following conditions are fulfilled: - The User should be an individual of the age 18 years and above. - The User should attend all the e-learning sessions of the course. - The User should successfully take up the final participatory test after attending all the modules of CFG. The Course Completion Certificate shall be valid for a period of 1 year from the date of issue. The membership shall be renewed as per the discretion of PersonalFN. There may be renewal membership fees and refresher course test at the time of renewal of membership.

You need to pay only a one-time fee of Rs 10,000 at the time of registration.

No. Even after getting a tag of a Certified Financial Guardian, you do not get listed on the CFG platform, if you are not qualified to offer or provide any investment advisory services as allowed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

To get listed on the CFG platform, you need to be an investment advisor who should successfully complete the CFG E-learning program and should have valid course completion certificate. Moreover it is mandatory that you should be qualified to offer or provide any investment advisory services as allowed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

You will be listed on the CFG website only when the requisite documents are verified and approved by Team CFG.

As an Advisor, you should have any one of the following valid certifications, which will be verified by Team CFG:

  • SEBI registration under SEBI (Investment Advisors) Regulation, 2013;

  • AMFI Registration No. (ARN)

  • An employee of entity registered under SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulation, 2013

- You are required to submit self attested scanned copies of the above mentioned certifications.
- You may also need to submit self-attested scanned copy of your PAN card and address proof.

- If you are an employee of an entity, you should submit:

  • Scanned copy of the certificate issued by SEBI under SEBI (Investment Advisors) Regulation, 2013

  • Scanned copy of letter from the entity authorizing you (the Advisor) to interact on behalf of the entity. It is the responsibility of the entity to ensure that the representative fulfils the qualifications as required under SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013.

A client will get in touch with a CFG via his contact details. The whole dealing will be completely private, free from any interference from PersonalFN.

Your account as a CFG shall be deactivated, if you fail to renew your CFG certificate. In case you wish to close your CFG Account yourself, you can get in touch with Team CFG.
The closure of your CFG account will be subject to:

  • not having any outstanding obligations on the Website; and

  • resolving any outstanding matters and

  • paying any outstanding fees owing on the Account.

CFGs will be rated by their clients and they will be listed in our database. When an investor searches for a CFG, he will find the CFGs list, along with their respective ratings and reviews.

In case you wish to delete your CFG Account, you can get in touch with Team CFG.
The deletion of your CFG account will be subject to:

  • not having any outstanding obligations on the Website; and

  • resolving any outstanding matters and

  • paying any outstanding fees owing on the Account.
